I am a Kerala State Government Employee. On 5-2, on my way to my office, I stopped to refuel my byke in a Petrol pump run by BPCL, Kochi refinary, near Gosree Bridges, Ernakulam. After accepting the money, the attender filled Diesel in my Petrol Engines Tank. When I tried to start my Byke in the evening, I noticed unusual smoke from the exhaust. The I consulted a near by mechanic and after verification he told me that the problem was with the fuel. I will have to clean up my bykes engine and Petrol Tank. It needs a huge sum of money. This is in addition to the mental and physical dfficulties faced by me yesterday.
When I tried to inform abot the matter in the pump, in the evening, the employee in charge of the front office of the pump responded so irresponsibily that their mistake is as usual as deaths in vehicle accidents. It is not fair to appoint such irresponsible employees in hazardous industries like petrol pumps.
