Winning of a lottery

I got a mail stating that I won GBP1, 500, 000.00 in the lottery. After that, I was asked to contact the E-COURIER DELIVERY SERVICE LTD. for my cheque. However, despite reminders I havent received the cheque nor have I received any e-mail from them asking for any money to be paid towards insurance, etc.

Is this a scam? Is this a fraud company?
