Frequent disconnection of broadband connection

I am having DataOne Broadband connection to my land Line No. 040-23543815. The broadband connection very frequently gets disconnected. When I enquired with BSNL technicians, they said it might be the problem with wiring. But every time broadband connection disconnects, I reboot the modem and I am able to get the connection. If the problem is with the wiring, it should not get connected. I think the problem is with the settings either in the modem installed in my premise or with the settings in the BSNL end. I also read similar problems encountered by other subscribers. If this problem is not solved, the whole purpose of providing such a fast broadband service is waste. It gets disconnected when we are making huge payments through credit card for tickets booking and we are not sure whether the payment is effected or not. Similarely, when we are down loading large data, at the fag end of downloading, broadband disconnects and we have to restart the downloading from the beginning. there are so many problems like this wasting lot of precious time and money. BSNL Aothorities may look in to the issue and suggest a solution to the problem.
