I am having BSNL Broadband connection (500C Plan) at my chennai residence since October. My first bill for the month of October is Rs. 416.00. Since it was a nominal amount, I paid without investigating on my usage details properly.
But for the month of November, I got excess bill of Rs. 5278.00 – which is highly shocking, erratic, absurd, illogical and I can’t bear such an amount for not utilizing the service. So, now I had doubt on your billing even for the October month.
I never used the service between 2:00 AM to 8:00 AM, but the usage details shows, that I have used during that time. Moreover in the month of November, most of the time our broadband connection was not working. I complained this to our telephone exchange, they replied that due to some problem there were some changes in the Bangalore server and they told that I need to reset the modem settings. But they never came to reset the settings. Without resetting the modem settings, I could able to browse sometimes by continuously try switching OFF and ON the modem. Even now I have this issue in my connection.
I request you to investigate the usage details for both October and November month and I request you to take necessary steps to ensure that billing is relevant. Please correct my bills as soon as possible as the pay by date of my bill is fixed as 30-DEC.
It will be highly appreciated if my request is fulfilled else to the most I will have to surrender this connection and take help from consumer court.
