An ADSL modem (C2110) was handed over to me on 22/08. Installation was not done by the person, who came to hand over the modem.
Not being informed by BSNLregarding activation of BB, I lodged a written complaint on 4th Sept. 2008. BSNL office informed me about the user id & password on that day (4th Sept) while receiving the complaint.
My land line (2471-8306) was out of order during that time and was restored on 10th Sept. On 11th Sept I first login and since then I am facing problem.
Problems are:
1) BSNL raised a bill adding BB charge for the month of Aug'08. I issued a letter to Area Manager marking copy to CGM and DF. No reply received till date. I will deduct the broad BAnd charge Rs. 750=00 from the bill and send the payment to Ministry if I don't receive any reply from BSNL Kolkata by 25th Sept. 2008. This is already being informed to all concerned.
2) Broad Band connection is still out of order as the modem fails to negotiate with the exchange. Link failing after each 1 - to - 5 mins. I talk to BSNL office almost every day, but with no concrete solution till date. The power LED of the MODEM is not glowing while the other LEDs are doing necessary function. Link LED stabilses and after few mins. starts blinking.
I don't know when the connection will get stable. I am sure BSNL will again send a bill for Sept'08, when the problem is yet to be set right. I will not pay any amount for the month of Sept'08, if the problem is not resolved by 72 hrs as per BSNL guideline.
