Caller id complaint

sir/madam

Im using BSNL landline since 10yrs. I hav caller id in my phone but sometimes its not woking. I complained in the bsnl exchange but no use. They are saying problem is in intrument. Im facing this problem last 2yrs when caller id is activated. Please solve this problem.
