Disconnection without notice

I am a postpaid connection holder of cellone from thiruvananthapuram, kerala for the last so many years. My mobile number is 9447095473.I was paying the bill throuh ecs from Centurian Bank. Suddenly on 5th of march by 11 am while i was attending a call my call was cut and i could not make any outgoing calls or i could not recieve any incoming calls.

I went to the nearby BSNL office near Goverment Press thiruvananthapuram and enqired what happend. The officer who was there to collect money told me that my phone was disconnected and i should pay a sum of Rs2835.I told him that i will pay the dues for january by cash now itself and the dues for February will be paid as cheque since i didnt reciev any bill for the same. The officer didnt agree to it.

Then I went to the bank and collected money and went to bsnl office near Pattom LIC .There the officer was of the opinoin that i need pay the dues for January now, and the amount for February need be paid after getting the bill.

Any way i paid an amount of Rs 2835 in cash. He told me I will get reconnection within one hour. I waited till 7 pm on 5th and I didnt get reconnection. I called customer care and registered a complaint. Anyway till 10.am on 6th March I didnt get reconnection. Since i was very badly in need of active mobile connection I personally went to the bsnl office where i remitted cash and enquired the officer who was there to collect money. He told me that his job is only to collect money and if you have any problem you go to the second floor and tell somebody there. I went to the second floor of that office where i could find an accounts officer named Mr. Sanal and he helped me a lot and i got reconnection within 5 minutes.

Later I could understand that centurian bank was merged with HDFC bank and they had informed bsnl the factual delay that may happen.

I am a doctor and my mobile number was given to so many and so i was totally disurbed due to unfair attittude of your staff. The bsnl could have given me a warning that my mobile phone bill was pending before discnnecting both outgoing and incomming abrubtly. Please give your officers to atleast behave properly to customers who are genuine.

I request that I may be given a reply acknowledging my letter.
