Dear Sir/Madam,

I've been using broadband services of bsnl since 2years, and there has been a constant problem with the line. Every now and then the ADSL (link) LED of the modem blinks and the connection drops. This happens every 2-3 minutes, which poses great problem for any online work. If i call up the BSNL customer care people they just confirm about the BSNL light constant status, and after some time the connection is erratic as ever.By seeing the router page of my modem I can see that the SNR Margin is way less than the Attenuation (which represents the noise in the phone line). The SNR should be atleast double of the attenuation, which is inverse in my case, and this being the root cause as per me, but if I try to tell this to the BSNL guys they play the blame game. The broadband people say to tell this to phone line personnel, the phone line people tell to ask the broadband about this problem, in the end I'm the one suffering and no one fixes the problem. The major problem is the connection doesn't stay constant for 5-10minutes also. Even when the internet connects there is a certain hissing noise in the landline.

So, in brief the major problems I am facing is constant disconnection on my internet and a certain hissing noise on my landline when internet is connected. I think there is some problem with the line, which is backed up by the odd SNR and Attenuation figures on my router page. I request you to ask the BSNL people to fix my problem as soon as possible.
