Excess Billing to consumers on regular basis

It is being observed that the BSNL Mobile consumers of Assam Circle are being over charged on regular basis specially since November'2007. As the BSNL don't provide detailed bills to all it's subscribers the customers are even not knowing about it.

It is only known to a handful of subscribers who had opted for Detailed Billing options and regular complains made by them brings in some relief to their accounts but it is totally doubtful weather the rest of the subscribers are also getting those corrective rebates or not. Even for the customers who are getting detailed bills it is very much hell of a job to go scrutnise the whole bill and then bring it to the notice of concerned officers for corrections, which is quite time consuming as well as expensive proposition.

Every time a complain is made it is being assured that the corrective measures had been taken and henceforth no such problem will arise but again some other problem creeps in and consumer is being robbed by BSNL - a public sector Company on regular basis.
