I bought 2 onwards journey tickets to Goa from Bangalore online thru company needz.com. the ticket was bought online on the 13th of dec 07. and the amount paid for 2 tickets was 1700 (850 per ticket).
the problem is that the transporter called on the 23rd to tell me that the fare has been increased from 800 to 1400 and if i fail to pay the extra charges the tickets stand cancelled.
the details of the ticket are as follows

and theres no such clause in the ticket which says the transporter can change the fare as per their wishes.
so i would like to know how do i take this matter further without me having to pay the charges and without me having to cancel the tickets. (my hotel booking and stuff has been made only after the confirmation of this ticket.) as far as i know the transporter cannot make any such demands once the ticket has been issued.
kindly help me take the matter further and resolve the same.
