Worst service, irresponsible behaviou

Hi

I am manohar from madurai, Tamilnadu. I am having a savings bank account in Canara Bank, Tirunagar branch, Madurai. Eventhough there was sufficient funds with my account my cheque has been bounced twice. when i enquired with the manager, he said the problem was due to the recent core banking system introduced. Anyway he admitted the mistake by his staffs. the same problem occured again. I generously left the issue eventhough i paid penalty the credit card company. After some days i went to ask for a new cheque book. the staff asked me to come by evening and collect it. i went there by 5 pm. he said evening means 2.30 pm. the next morning i went and asked for the book. He replied that he is busy with work and asked me to come by evening. i said in the evening i could come only by 5 pm that you won't agree. i have to come all the way from k.k.nagar. He gave me a superb reply stating that " why are u having ur account here if ur office is in k.k.nagar. u have ur account with some other bank nearby". then i complained to the manager. He on his part gave a astonising answer" we won't give cheque book to people who give it for other banks". who is he to direct me to give my hard earned money. i have the right to give it to any fool.
