Refund of money paid

Sir / Madam,

I have been called personally by the officers of the Carwale.com site and have been assured that if I load the details of my car on the site, the same will be sold WITHIN PERIOD OF 3 MONTHS [90 DAYS].

For that assurance that they were giving, i was asked to deposit an AMOUNT OF RS. 750/- in their account. Since I was out of station, i could not deposit the same for 3 days and on all 3 days, I reeived a call from the company office at Mumbai asking me to deposit and assuring me that my car will be sold in 3 months or the money will be refunded.

On returning to town, I have deposited the money way back in November. The 90 days completes in Feb.09. That we are in May and till date instead of their refunding the amount, since my car could not be sold, inspite of it being listed, they are not now refunding the amount.

By profession I am a lawyer practising with the Gujarat High Court and going to Consumer Court is not that hard for me. However I have come to know about your site to solve such problems directly and amicably.

You are therefore requested to do the needful in the aforesaid matter and inform me as to what am I suppose to do now?
