Sub: Complaint against fraud done from telephone number 1409304132 for Rs 7000.00 (Rs Seven thousand) only from my account on 04-10 in the name of free Blackberry mobile by Ms Preeti.
Sir,
1. I have purchased Kodak N-3-80 Camera on 06-02 for Rs 9498.00 by mobile no. 9426316096.
2. On 04-10, one lady Ms Preeti called from telephone number 1409304132 on this mobile number 9426316096 stating that she is from India Today Book club and this number is selected for a free gift mobile Blackberry costing Rs 10000.00 at 10:54 AM. She said that mobile is totally free and she want to verify some details.
3. She asked about the card used at that time that was of our family friend.
4. Then she asked for own card and I gave her SBI Debit card no. 9220180332000093549 and pin also.
5. She inquired about balance also.
6. She asked about old address, which was of Surat. Then she took this my home address. She talked about two to three times on this number.
7. I dialed from my mobile to this number 5 to 6 times, it works for two seconds and says that you can’t call on this number.
8. In the evening I came to know by sms that Rs 7000 debited from SBI account using my card number without my permission.
9. She gave all the details of Camera purchased, it means that she took this mobile number from India Today Book Club or she is an employee of India Today book Club.
10. Kindly refund that amount in my account and ask the lady who has talked at that time t refund the money.
11. Ask the lady and your all employees not to cheat.
12. If this money is not refunded by you then I have to write on face book/twiter about the fraud being done by India Book Today Book Club.
