Regarding ECS Which Happened on Account but Money not getting Reflected

I have policy of ICICI Prulife whose ECS happens on 31st every month. During 31st May ECS, my Citibank account did not have sufficient balance. But still ECS happened and account went to negative balance as according to Citibank statement. After some days I got letter from ECS stating that my ECS has bounced due to insufficient balance. I enquired at both sides many times and even to their offices 2-3 times. Both have given me letter mentioning no wrong from their respective sides. Since then 3 months is going to complete and am still wondering where that money has gone.

Can you advise me what should i do now?
