Respected Sir / Madam,
I am holding a Citibank Credit card (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-5001) since July and I have never used that credit card on any ATM for any kind of Cash withdrawal till today.
I received the statement for the credit card for the period of March 18 to April 16, which had demand of Rs. 56, 000.00 against cash withdrawal (which I did not make), I immediately lodged a complaint with the Citibank Customer Care for the disputed transactions.
But bank has reverted back saying that those are valid transactions. First they said that these were Internet transaction and later mentioned that these were in the nature of ATM Cash Withdrawal.
When I asked them to prove that my credit card was actually used for these fraudulent transactions they are not complying.
I have never done these transactions and no one else can do this on my behalf as I know and understand the secrecy level while using any card.
I know these type of cases are not new for Indian Consumer Complaints Forum, so I request you to help me as I am frustrated with following up with the customer care and the Citibank team members.
