Removal of Extra Interest Charges

Sir/Ma'am,

I have a citibank credit card (CC no.-4550387252494007) on my name. There have been two times when I've used the card and on both instances, there has been extra charges levied on it. The first time I bought movie tickets from Fun Republic for Rs 470/-, and insisted on the extra charges to be removed first, but even after enumerous calls at the customer service and writing mails, I was told that they would clear the extra charges put only after I would pay up the due amount. Since I was not doing it to skip my bill, so I did as I was told, but the problem still persisted. Then I was explained about an insurrance on the phone, and I clearly said that it should not be despatched, as we've always had very bad experiences with Citibank as a company. But still the insurrance came, the insurrance amount was levied, and when I refused to accept it and demanded the reversal of he unwanted policy, part of the amount along with interest charges still remained on my bill. Now, once again, when I used my card the second time in June for Indigo air tickets, before the due date of payment, I kept writing and calling the concerned persons for the removal of those extra charges put unnecessarily. But the same history was repeated and I was asked to pay my bill first, but since that discussion and calls in order to get some response out of Citibank took some time, theyu very cleverly took the due amount, but added an additional amount for delaying the payment.

Sir, we as a family have very huge home loans on our shoulder and we have never since years done any kind of fraud whatsoever.

Since all the pending spendings have been paid, I would further request you to kindly remove those irrerelevant charges and send in a statement with zero balance due. We are being troubled and harrased by the citibank people a lot. We are tired of telephonic conversations and would request for written communication. We so far have not used the card in the last three months, just because of this problem.

Kindly take care of all this, as we will not be left with any other choice then to apply for a credit card of another company, and

forget about Citibank, as we refuse to pay the amount levied in our statement for no rhyme or reason.
