Citibank Credit Card
Excessive unreasonable very heavy

Dear Friends and the Concerned Authority,

This is Milind - a "Citibank (Indian-Oil) Gold Credit Card" holder.

Citibank Credit-Card has recently charged me with very heavy Un-reasonable Excessive "InterestCharge":

1) Citibank (Credit-Card) has charged me Rs.840 for a short-payment of Rs.163 only.

2) I paid Rs.26324 within the due date keeping only Rs.163 unpaid. They have sent me this payment statement after next 10 days.

3) Called on Wednesday, 22.OCT.2008 at 7:15pm on their Mumbai Call-Center Number # 020.2834.7733 (PREF).

4) Spoke to Call Centre Executive - ManmeetSingh.

5) who informed me that the "InterestCharge" Rs.839.38 (Rs.747.22 ServiceTax Rs.92.36) have been charged, because of only Rs.163 Short in Payment (Rs.26324.56) made on 09.OCT.2008. This interest is charged on the whole amount of Rs.26500/- for whole One Month.

Interest Charge on Rs.163 after 10 days:

Rs.747.22 Service Tax Rs.92.36 = Rs.839.58
