I am holding a loan account no. 908713 with Citibank, Pune branch. Previouly I had opted PDC option for making EMI & as per that I had given 24 PDC's to bank for the EMI amount Rs.7596/-. My last PDC was till month Jul-08 & Bank has revise EMI to 9522/- without intimating to me. I had continue to pay Rs.7596/- (as per old EMI amt) in Oct08 bank executive told me to pay revise EMI 9522/- which was effective from Aug08 but they had not given me any written communication for rivision of EMI. At last from Feb09 I had started to pay revised EMI 9522/-. But Citibank had charged penal interest Rs.1222/- & 1250/- (approx) in Feb09 & Mar09 respectively & also charge Rs.500/- towards cheque bounce charges (as per their records a cheque for month Aug07 was bounce).
I had asked Bank to reverse these penal interest which was charged to my account even there is no fault from my side. (as per truth of case mention above). and also question them HOW THEY CAN CHARGE CHEQUE BOUNCE CHARGES AFTER MORE THAN ONE YEAR.
But Bank is not ready to reverse above mention charges.
I need your help to get it reverse.
