Note: That as soon as the parcel is cleared from the airport authorities, the diplomat shall proceed immediately to a branch of the Reserve Bank of India nearest to him and deposit the cheque in your favour. This is the procedure given to us to follow by the Reserve Bank.
The diplomat shall render you any assistance you need for the process with the Reserve Bank of India, and ensure that the funds get transferred into your bank account successfully before he leaves back to London.
