My wife Mini Sankar File#COCZ00299309, my Son Rohit Balaji File # COCZ00299509 and me Balaji K file# COCZ00299409 had applied for renovation of our passports at the Alleppey office. Their register bhas been marked that only I need Police verification and my wife and son donot require police varification.
Police varification was done in my case and I got my pasport within a month.
I got a communication from our Cochin passport office regarding my Sons's passport requesting me to approach the Cochin office with copy of my passport in person. When I went there I was asked to come back with my wife's passport too.
But I informed the desk that her passport has been given for renovation. On looking at the system the person at the desk told me that her pasport was waiting for a police varification report from Alleppey. On coming back to Alleppey I again went to the passposrt office and checked the files. On which it clearly ststes that there is no police varification required.
The current ststus is that Cochin pasport office is waiting for a police varification from the Alleppey office and the Alleppey office is not going to do a police varification.
My wife and son donot have a passport cause it is tangled up in some clerical error.
Please advice action and resolve this issue.
Our applications were made on the 22nd of April and it's been more than two months.
Awaiting a fruitful sollution to this.
