I am member of a cooperative group housing society. Recently, DDA held draw of flats and a flat was alloted to me. I completed all formalities and made all payments as demanded by society & there is no due payment as of now. The possesion of flats have been handed over to all allottees. However, I am not given possesion till now whereas all other members have been given possesion before six months. Reason given by management committee is that there is dispute with builder and he is not handing over possesion of 17-18 flats. They are telling that they do not know when the possesion will be given to me. I want the flat urgently as I am paying rent where I am staying & want to shift in that flat. They are telling that they will not entertain me any further and will give me possesion as and when they get it from builder. They are telling that I can go anywhere & no one can do anything against them. When DDA has alloted me flat, why only few allottes are held as hostage and possesion is not given to them for no fault of theirs. Enough time has been given to society for sorting out the difference with builder. If dispute continues for years, what will happen to flat allotted to me. What action can I take for getting possesion of flat allotted to me through draw held by DDA.
