I, Akash Jain, am a student of IIT Roorkee, Roorkee. I ordered a dell inpiron 1525 laptop and sent a D.D. of Rs.40868/- to dell head office on dated 08-08.The money would have adjusted in its account within 2-3 days. Initially a estimate delivery date of laptop was given to me as 25-08 through mail. This was a very long time of delivery compare to the time that was committed by their sales representative as 7 woking days on telephonic talk. Then I again got a mail for another delay of my delivery on dated 21-08 by dell customer services. A revised estimate delivery date as 09-09 was given to me in that mail. Then I talked telephonically with the customer care person regarding the deIivery. she told me that my laptop would be released from their production unit on dated 01-09 but i got an another mail showing the date of release of the laptop is extended to 03-09. I was again and again calling to their customer care person to make the delivery as fast as possible because it is very precious time for me regarding the presentations, projects and seminars and for the the purpose I invested in Dell that all went in vain and i am facing lots of mental agony and feeling myself cheated by this unforseen delay. I dont know for what time i have to wait for my delivery of laptop bcs delivery date is being extended again and again.
