Police Verification Pending

Hi,

I'm currently working as programmer Analyst for Infosys Technologies Ltd, London. My father Mr Sunil Kumar Chakraborty (DOB-12-01-1949) has submitted the passport form on 29-01 (File Reference Number: CAL-A007576-09). Even after 1 month, the police verification is pending and I'm unable to trace out the status of the application from Police. Kindly help on this!
