Transfer from Indane to Bharatgas

I have transferred by domestic gas supply card (Indane) from Jorhat (Assam) to Kolkata. Since Bharatgas has a supply depot very close to my residence at Nilachal Complex, Narendrapur, I requested the Manager, Bharatgas Supplier, to transfer my connection from Indane to Bharatgas. I have been told that they will not do this.

Next, I requested them to provide me with a new connection. I was told that I shall have to pay Rs4, 500/- for the purpose. I was told that this is the package which includes Gas Oven etc but since I already have Gasoven etc I told them that I require only the connection. I was then told that in such case, there is no guarantee as to when they would provide me new connection and it will be delayed indefinetly.

Please let me know what should I do now.
