I am a citizen of India & resident of West Bengal. Election in my region is over on 30th April. But I would like to draw ur attention towards the campaigning procedure in India. Is it as per rule that a Candidate can advertise himself/herself through SMS sevices. I have received various political parties SMS urging to vote them. But on 5th of May to my surpise I have received a SMS from such a candidate who is not belong to my region. Asking for support from such type of candidates. Is it legal? How they get access to our mobile numbers? I am citizen of India but I am not al all interested in politics. I have casted my vote since its my birth right & by casting my rights, I can get a stable Govt. who will work for poor, needy, middle class & for all the section of people of India.
