Hi

I applied for the PF amount in chennai-Royapetah office in 2005. I gave a bank account number which is a joint account number with my mother. I didnt know, they wouln't accept the joint account number. But EPF office told that they sent two cheques to my bank. But the bank confirmed that they didnt receive any cheques from PF office. After that i gave a new account number (Not a joint account number) for receiving the PF amount. I called and reminded them many times. I gave many letters to the responsible persons. But still I dont get the amount. Even i asked that person whether that amount could be tranferred to my new PF account. But they refused that. Please tell me what to do.
