I have submitted redemption of two Mutual funds symultaneously. I got cheque for one and second cheque they withheld telling that my signature is not tallying. For getting money back they asked me to produce (i) signature attestation by Bank Manager with full name, code official seal etc (2) attested copy of PAN card (3) copy of bank pass book or cancelled cheque leaf (4) address proof -ration card/passport/voter ID/telephone bill/ etc etc (5) proof of investment - Why you need all these documents to prove my identity. Is it to help me or humiliate me. I am a senior citizen. please do not give any hardship to me. Since you are issuing account payee cheque the problem is over. If you want prove my identity you can issue the cheque through UTI UFC at alappuzha. All your action make me belive that when I need money don.t trust UTI as they will reject your request giving vague reasons
I have alaready maild complaints but no reply was received except from Karvy a compurised reply that my complaint will be resoved with in 7 days. several seven days are over. This type of bitter experience with UTI will make people to skip away from UTI. I will be happy if you give me a detailed reply- not the computerised reply- PTJoseph
