Evershine's shining fraud
Dear Consumers BEAWARE,
No need to panic. I think god chose me to spread this message among all the consumers either engaged or planning to engage for any relationship with evershine builders pvt ltd.
This story happens to start with my Nri brother coming to Mumbai with plans of buying a 3 BHK flat.we Use all our resources and decide to buy a flat out of mumbai for reasons such as Peace & Low cost. Suddenly a friend of mine calls up and suggest about Evershine builders pvt ltd seven storey building at Vasai east (evershine solitaire A, B, C wings). After brainstromming through their price for a fully furnished 3 bhk flat we land up buying 1445 sqft (built up area as mentioned on their brochures) @ 2345 rs/sqft evershine solitaire A wing sixth floor A-604 (booking is in the name of Mr. Sanjay Sharma for all the future consumers reference).
so far so good registration is completed and now my brothers financial documents gor for loan processing. The banker calls me up and invites me to pass on some valuable information (he happens to be my college friend). The valuation report of evershine builders done from one of the reputed Government recognised valuators shows the built up area as 1120 sq ft.
This magic happens only in magical shows. The entire 325 sqft of the specified built up area goes vanishing (great work EVERSHINE). I immediately stop all the payments from the bank.
Just to clarify I call up the builders office but is told By Mr. Anil Ahluwalia (face of evrshine) that we should have actually taken a measuring tape and then checked the specifications once we saw the sample flat. He told us to cancel the bookings and to wait for the money (-) my registration charges only when the said flat is old out.
many of the flats in the same building (A, B, C) is already sold out. I feel sorry for them.
I have heard evrshine has come up with mega projects in Virar in collabaration with Rustomjee builders. Good luck buyers and Investors
Dear Investors /Flat purchasers please follow the following Thumb Rule while buying flats with any bulider not only Evershine,
1.Carry a measuring tape (it saves's you money and time, not to mention the emotional & Financial trauma.
2.Confirm the specification of the building/flat. Get it written on their letterheads. You wont need to face the legal department of the builder.
3.Most important do all your research about the builder his property papers approvals from all the concerned departments.
4.Go through google search for builder frauds and definitely you will come across some case history of other customer's.
