Efund of Income Tax for assessment year 2007 not received

Hello Sir,

I have not received my IT refund for the assessment year 2007. I filed my IT returns in Bangalore under the ward 14 (2).

When I enquired in Bangalore IT department, they said that amount is sent for ECS clearance last year, and they don't know anything after that. Surprisingly, when I asked for the transaction number, they said that they don't have it. They also said that, Only IT department, Mumbai deals with the refunds. All my BANK detials are correct for ECS. My details are as follows:

Amount to be refund: Rs. 7165

PAN number: AOEPP8269G

Please suggest the way to get the refund. Awaiting for your response,
