I have received an SMS message from ExpressIT courier as follows 09.05.2008 at 1612 hrs.:

1089032 - we tried to deliver your consignment today vide AirwayBill 2616345771.Kindly contact ExpressIT immediately on 020- 32313344.

Immediately I contacted the given number and on telling them that I was very much available at my given address, she said probably the delivery boy might have missed the address and that the courier will be delivered on Saturday. No delivery on saturday as well. I again contacted them, and the lady assured that the courier will be delivered on Moday. Again no delivery till evening and the lady assured that the delviery boy is on the way and the courier will be delviered. No delivery on Monday as well. On Tuesday I tried to call them since morning 0900 hrs. I might have called a hundred times before they attended the call in the evening at 1530 hrs. The lady asked the airway bill no and said the courier had been returned yesterday. On checking the details of the sender, she shouted stating that there are hundred of documents with the airways bills starting series 26 and may be it is from some Bank. On persisting, she gave one number 32314470 and thereafter hung up the phone abruptly. On calling the given number, the number was found to be in switched off condition.

Kindly be aware of these type of courier companies. I fail to understand why standard companies like banks utilise the services of these kind of agencies. For one thing I will never ever go to this courier company in my life. May be our good old Postal Department is O.K.
