To whosoever it may concern:
Dear Sir / Madam,
Reference is made to the P.P.O No. 3000759, via which, my mother, Mrs. Sulochana Nambiar, who is a widow, is receiving pension for the last 8 years. Recently in a matter of 3 years this is the second time that her pension has been abruptly stopped. When enquired in the Bank, Punjab National Bank, Ulhasnagar-421 004, it was told to us that the life certificate which had to be submitted in November, has not been received by the Pension office. This office is at Malad, which will take us approximately 3 hrs to reach, one way. The pension that my mother receives is also not much, just Rs. 450, monthly. For this merger amount is it right that a widow has to suffer?
The Life certificate was submitted to the Bank on 24-Nov, a scanned copy of which is attached below. A government organisation is made to make citizen's life easier and not to make it hell. I would therefore request you to kindly look into the matter. As mentioned before this is the second time that this is happening. The first time, we had travelled all the way to Malad office just to show them the certificate. Please let me know is it possible to help my mother in some ways that she will bless the Pension department.
Thanking you in advance expecting that some help will be provided to my Mother.
Best regards
