Dishonor of cheque

I am a Delhi based web designer. Sir, my previous employer has given

me a salary cheque which was dishonored by the bank due to

insufficient funds. I tried to contact him many times but he is not

answering properly. Sir, the cheque was given to me on the day i had

left his company i.e. 6th June, 09. I deposited that cheque on 19th

June, 09.

what should i do? How can I take my dues from him as soon as possible.
