I went to see a show called LUXURION WORLD 2009. It read like the only Ultimate Luxury Lifestyle Soiree in India. Its brochure said that the visitors are only thru invitations and the show is at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai.
I took time out of my busy schedule and went to attend it as I received an invitation.
I went there and found that its probably the biggest fraud thats been done with the exhibitors.
The show was organized by some Mr Gupta of Multinet Worldwide, Mumbai jointly with Maharashtra Economic Development Council (MEDC)(president is some Vithal Kamath). These two companies jointly slaughtered the exhibitors.
Firstly the site was misleading. www.luxurionworld2009.com You visit the site and think that probably Bucati/Austin Martin/Yachts/etc would be on display... I guess they have put more money in making the site rather than advertising anywhere else.
When I went to Hyatt and searched for the show. I was told by the reception that there is a show by that name in a ground adjacent to the hotel. I was taken aback. What a fraud!?!
I didnt find any visitors inside the show (probably 5-6 visitors when i visited). I asked a few exhibitors and to my surprise found that the organisers had told them that its an exclusive show and visitors are by invitation; and probably organisers forgot to invite the rich&-amp;-famous, for that matter even didnt invite poor&-amp;-infamous. What a pity!?!
Poor invitation, zero advertisement, misleading site, wrong venue, inadequate information, etc were the only features one could see in this exhibtion.
One must take action against Multinet Worldwide, Mumbai & MEDC.
