For a long time (about a year or so) this company has been taking about a months' time, often more, to supply a cylinder and fooling its customers by not allowing gas booking of the second cylinder till the first booking is supplied even if the second one has been exhausted. Thus not only the customers often have to do with no gas supply, the benefit of keeping two cylinders is not quite available to them. The owner is often not available for talking and sayts this is how it will remain, nothing can be done. To our knowledge there is no general shortage of cylinders in the country and the competing supplier in the city, HP supplies at quick intervals. We have come across hearsays that the owner actually supplies cylinders to interior areas such as Sehara Bajar from Burdwan depot and also sell to private Marriage Ceremony caterers and hotels not having authorised connection. Please make the owner understand his responsibilities in dealing with an essential public service. If you want endorsement of my basic complain, you may make a secret enquiry on a random sample of the customers for their opinion. They do not complain to avoid further complications in getting the supply.
