Subject: Bed bug treatment provided by Godrej Hi care vide service contract and invoice SCF No 1010720 dated May 21, 08

Notice for recovery of Payments made to Godrej Hi care and additional claim for damages for causing mental agony, torture and undue harassment.

In reference to the above, I wish to bring the following to your attention :

1. I had sometime availed of a anti cockroach treatment that was carried out to my satisfaction. This satisfaction had put a great degree of confidence in your services and thus when we saw some bed bugs at our flat, we called Godrej to fix the problem.

2. On May 20, 08, Godrej people visited the premises and made a quote of Rs 2350/- for fixing the problem. This involved some sprays to get rid of the bed bugs problems as per their schedule.

3. However, ever since the problem was first attended on May 21, 08 we observed no improvement on the bed bugs problems and kept making continuous complaint to your service centers and they would send one person or the other who would do some liquid spray that did not bug the bedbugs as the bed bugs problem remain unresolved.

4. On further complaints, Godrej Hi care now states that the contract period was 45 days and this being over, they cannot attend to our complaint.

The above contention that irrespective of whether or not the problem is fixed, since 45 days contract period is over, they shall not be attending the complaint is malicious and based on ulterior motives.

Having given you the background of the case as above, I now wish to address you as follows :

1. The contract was for fixing the bed bug problem and this never was fixed by Godrej as bed bugs continue (d) to be there as before the commencement of the so called treatment by Godrej Hi care.

2. I am not concerned as to what is being sprayed by your people –whether it is water of some chemical but am only concerned with the fix to the reported problem.

The above facts only confirm that either Godrej does not have a cure to the bed bugs problems or their people are not trained or they have not used the right spray and whatever be the case it has played fraud with me as the problem was never fixed by Godrej. Further, to add insult to the injury, Godrej Hi care now insists that the contract period was 45 days and as such nothing can be done in the matter.

Please treat this as due notice to you for rectification of the defects/deficiencies in service within

7 days of issue of this notice. Please also note in no uncertain terms that I am determined to move to Consumer Court for refund of all payments made to you as also damages from Godrej Hi care for playing fraud with me and for mental harassment, torture and agony meted out to me and my family members.
