COPY OF EMAIL COMPLAINT TO HAIER, INDIA / BIG-BAZAAR DTD 27.09.09 :
(NO RESPONSE FROM EITHER OF THE COMPANIES YET!)
1.Fact: The deal advertised for 32inch Haier LCD TV for Rs.23, 990/- alongwith Free DTH set top box 3 months' subscription had us wanting to know more. However, customercare for Haier-India states that they do not handle any sales based queries!
Q: Pl explain??
(Pl note brands one is used to, like Samsung & LG, have an all-comprehensive proffesional customercare setup)
2.Fact: No one person was willing to take full responsibility for info shared on phone despite making the effort of tracking down cell-numbers.
We spoke with Mr. Ilyab Qureshi on his cell who passed us on to Mr. Satyajeet Banerjee who then put us onto Mr. Pawaskar who further got us to speak with one Mr. Abhishek from Delhi who apparenty handles the northern region.
Q: Pl explain this blatant 'passing the buck' by the senior Haeir-India staffers??
3. Fact: The above mentioned Mr. Abhishek repeatedly insisited on customer making further effort of personally visit the showroom to check on the 'terms & conditions' of the deal.
Q: Why is Haier India incapable of sharing basic info on phone OR via its website?? Pl note Mr. Abhishek was repeatedly asked if these can be checked on the internet, but he wasnt interested in cooperating.
4.Fact: the said Mr. Abhishek was found extremely aggressive and UNcooperative through the interaction.
Q: If this is the discouraging-UNproffessional attitude thrown by senior Haier India staffers prior to sale, pl give us good reason why a consumer should switch to Haier & invite more such harassment after-sales, especially given choices of competitive proffessionalism other brands in the market??
Needless to say, the above experience has been dissapointed to say the least and
would like to caution BIG BAZAAR not to take our faith & loyalty for granted without running a quality-check on the brands it leads us to in future.
