Intent to deceive through false promises

Dear Sir

Of late I was contacted by HDFC Bank for application of Platinum Plus card telling me that I was eligble for it and a FREE TRAVELLING BAG was being offiered as a gift with every card. This was through telecalling. I even asked them when they would deliver the travelling bag and they promised that the same would come along with the card.

Subseuqently, the bank followed up rigourously and sent me a representative to fill in he application saying that the card wouid be delivered in 3 weeks. Later there were confirmation calls and the card was delivered through Blue dart courier. When I enquired with the call centre they informed me that there was no such offer of the travelling bag with the card and hence the same was not delivered. They do not have any recording of the sales call either for proof.

My complaint no is 09307030001. They are not reverting to the complaint. This is pure deceit and waste of customer time and affects the credibilitty of the bank. They must compensate for this waste of time and false promises. May we inform all custormers present or prospective to beware of such calls from HDFC Bank and not entertain them.
