I, Reshmi Manna, using a credit card No: 4346772003017604 since 2005 with expiry date on Sep 2008 . The card No. mentioned above against which I never failure to make payment within due date, that even paying my bills before bill generation date & even i remember i had paid extra amount always than the project bill, but customer care never bother to thanks me nor they had offer me any special service for that. However my credit card address is of Kolkata, however i am working as Assit. Prof in Ranchi, awary from home & parents as well.

However after expiry of my old card a new card no: 4346781101177459 had been issued & troubles start from there. From that time onward before due date the executives call my landline No. abuse my parents & disturb like any thing. I am out station now located at Ranchi & I am helpless, my parents are being harassed like any thing either visiting at home or by call landline no. The excellent customer care service force me to stop transaction of the credit card since then; however still receiving bills due to some EMIs, & I would always like to pay the bill as Bank had help with cash on my problem, now its time to return their money.

Things had got extreme my parent received call from 03322488007 & 03340050292 abuse my mom, told them that "you are thief, running away from bank, your daughter is a beggar, so escaped to Ranchi, why she is using credit cards, she is not eligible”, when my mom got annoyed executive threat my mom that she will shoo my mom in court & will her life hail.&- Excellent customer care service no doubt about that, when my mom asked the executives’ name-she refused to say her name!!! Call was done by Piyali.

So i went to Kolkata HDFC Office, Gillander House, where with warm welcome executives refused to talk to me. When they find me difficult to handle, they made me talk to so called manager Mr.. Rajiv Mitra. He promised for the appology call to my parents. At the same time i promised them to pay the due amount after receiving the appology call by my parents.

The story i narrated to you all was for the month of Jannuary. Till march there was no appology call to may parents. Howerver, since i didnot made the payment they were charging high interest on them, so i made partial payment & call back Mr. Rajiv Mitra to enquire about appology call. He informed me that they had made appology call to my parents many times. However my mom strongly denie that there was no appology call from HDFC & definitely misbehaving call from collection department from Phone No. 03344073676, 03340050292, 03322488007, 03322349275 & executives clever enough to denied to tell their name & employee ID. Thats not the end they had send people like " GUNDA" to my residence for collection, they not only misbehaved, but threated my old parents badly in absence of me. Bank employee already had my Ranchi Phone No. they could have been given me a call instead of sending plpeople to residence & i had also given them one more Ranchi Phone no of my Uncle for emergency information, incase i am not avaliable in my Phone No., the executives called my uncle to say " where is Reshmi Manna that thief, why dont you ask your wife to make payment, if she dont have the money then why she had taken the credit. & many more..."

On this issue i was so irritated that i call back again to Mr. Rajiv Mitra, told him to send appolgy letter to my parents & call to my uncle. Again with no reponse to the pain of customer. HDFC bank is only concern for its money & i received a threating call from HDFC executives that "we had your Ranchi Address, if you dont make the payment, then we will taken the amount from your landlord", i dont know how my land lord came into the picture!!!

On 7th May i received call from Phone Nos: 03364516085 & 03322488253, executive told her name as Papia, she told me in Bengali " aee pagal toor paglami thik hoaache, kobay payment korbi" all the statement was in "TU" not "Aap" as per hindi dialets, the stament in bengali means " hey you mad, had you treated yourself??? when are you going to make payment? ". So i simply answed her that first written appology letter to my parents & apolgy call to my uncle then only i shall clear all the dues. Even after explaining her, she called me 60 times from this two No alternatively & kept on irratating me psycholgical to a extend where people lose their patience & mental balance. Calling a person 60 times & make that person receiving call 60 times with same question "Tu koba payment korbi" mean ' Tu kab payment karigee", its sever crimal act by bank executives according to Harassment Act 1997.

However as per reply not 7 days, 5 months gone with no action from the bank side, with still threating call from collection department, misbehaviuor & psychological harrashment.

My question are:

Is that the call quality system of HDFC Bank outbound process, which i am facing for last 8 months???

Isnt HDFC back aware that they depend on customers & their references???

Is HDFC top managemet people are sleeping, & bottom line management people are making its customers life hell with ease???

IS THERE ANY SOLUTION & END OF THE HARASSAHMENT FROM HDFC COLLECTION DEPARTMENT!!!

I would like to call forward all the credit card customers & stand against, who are been harrashed by collection department of the Bank & make the bank relealise that- if a customer by any means failed to pay, bank is charging interest. So bank have no right to misbehave with customers. If they wants to give reminder, that must have a particular process & call protocal for all banks eexecutives with quality talk.
