I applied for an additional cylinder (I have a single cylinder connection) at Shakthi Gas Dist, Raj Palya, Mahadevpura Bangalore. The application was registered on 17-Mar under the reference number 6390680. However, it is almost a year and I am still struggling to get second cylinder. Everytime I visit the dealer, they give reponses like there is waiting period of 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 years. I also wrote to HP Gas Consumer Zone, but there also everytime I am told to wait for another 2 months or so. I can understand that they are just delaying the process, without any actual resolution. This is a string of messages that I have recieved till now:

We are in receipt of your complaint and due to shortage of equipment we regret our inablity to release dbc.
We will be able to attend to your requiest shortly before December.

Due to shortage of Equipment, w are unable to release adequate cylinders to our distributors and hence the delay in issue of Additional Cylinder Connections.

We do not have equipment to release DBC / New connections to general public. This is due to delay in procurement of Cylinders by the Corporation.
