I am having a HP gas connection (Consumer No 700018) since 1971. In october i came to know from their dealer in Faridabad M/s Sumt Enterprises that HP has issued stop supply instructions and till the time the connection is restored i have to go the the dealer for getting a refill.
The condition at the dealer is pathetic, large crowd of hapless customer start gathering from 8 AM onwards and by the time the dealers starts his operations there is a crowd of at least 200 people there.
Its a virtual fight to get a refill from there as the dealer has a pre condition of giving a refill only till 10 AM (has this guideline been laid down by HP, Are some surprise checks conducted to see the operations/ greivances of consumer at the dealer/ is there any feedback mechansim???).
There is no concrete response from the Dealer and HP. I have been lodging a compliant on HP Gas website since November but to no avail.
In the days when customer is supposed to be the king and it offered all kind of prompt and value added services the attitute of the company in question is very disappointing.
Wating for a redressal of my complaint.
