Sub.: Another Fraud by HPCL-Petrol pump, Shivaji Service Station, Pune (contact: 020-26993479).
Date: 31st- May.
Venue: Shivaji service Station, at Sholaur high way, Near Hadapsar, Pune.
I regularly fill my car tank full, as aware of recent "un-official" shortage of fule (specially regular/normal petrol), I called up at petrol pump itself to confirm if they have "Normal Petrol" available, Manager said- Yes, I went to pump within 5 minutes and with no notice at pump, he said, Normal-petrol is out of stock. Surprisingly I noticed that someone just taken fuel of Rs. 100/- as last transaction were showing at LCD pannel of pump. When I argue that I confirmed before coming and can you give me in written that you do not have Normal Petrol in stock but do have power? he threathened me that there is "Air" in m/c and it may not give correct volume.
I also took stand and asked his name or his owner's contact details, he refuse and started saying "If you wish, you can buy normal petrol at your own risk"... in directly, agreed un-willingly.
Then I bought took 5 ltr. vessel from there store and took 5 ltr 4 times and got my car's tak full, it was giving me correct quantity "Out of stock and Air-excuse stand false". This prooves an artificial trap for forcibly framing customer to buy Power petrol. Point to be noted, there is no varification on the spot that fuel you are purchasing is ACTUALLY POWER or the Normal one coming out of m/c mentioning power.
Many of similiar fraud by HP pump can be found at various internet portals (mentioned below). We have no trust on HP-pumps now. If there is no concrete mechanism of restricting/pannelising such retailers, there is no limit of frauds they can start. Please take proper/strict actions and kindly update me about status.
