ICICI Bank
Deduction of amount without my consent

Dear Sir,

I, Deepesh Jain, am a regular customer of your bank having a saving account at Indore branch (A/c No.004101036949 since last three & half years. I have found in the statement of the last month that your bank has debited amount of Rs.6746.97 towards the out standing payment of credit card 4477 4681 3023 8004 without my consent saying that the said amount is outstanding and unpaid. Regarding this I would like to clarify some points fro ICICI bank, which are below:-

1. Why bank has not inform me about the the outstanding payment of the credit card before deducting from my account.

2. The bank is saying that they have intimated me, but still I have not received any correspondence from bank.

3. The bank is saying that they have made correspondences at the address, which they have in records of credit card. Unfortunately my job has been transferred to other city and I could not received any correspondence, but my point s that the saving account from which the bank debited the amount is my operative account and the account is having all the correspondence details like address & e-mail id on which they could have made correspondences, but bank did not do this before deducting the amount.

4. As I have this saving account since last three & half years, then Why bank has not informed me about the credit card outstanding payment, at the address linked with this account.

5. If I was made aware three years back, then I could have settled down the things.

As per my knowledge this credit card was destroyed and returned back to your bank through the ATM drop box without any outstanding payment at that time in the year 2004.

Regards,

Deepesh Jain
