Defaulters list not removed

Due to a bad health condition i had, i defaulted on my credit card. after which i repaid the amount in installments and got the settlement. but my name was not removed from the defaulters list, due to which i am not able to get any personal loans from any bank... kindly take neccesary action to help me...
