Greetings!
This is with reference to my loan account # LHDEL00000671314 with ICICI. There was auto-debit arrangement with them in recovering my monthly EMI and it was honored without fail (for 63 installments). As per my repayment schedule, the last EMI for the m/o May'2009 was INR 3607 and as o/s principal interest for that month was only INR 2005 23 and hence only INR 2028 was recovered from my account (which was right as per o/s balance).
As per my understanding, ICICI comuterized system assumes there was an o/s balance of 1579 (EMI INR 3607 - recovered amount of INR 2028) and mark me as defaulter and also applied LPP of INR 112 till date and referred my case to CIBIL (central government body for individual credit rating) and to ICICI collection department.
MY PROBLEM STATRED FROM HERE...
Point # 1, I received five calls from 911145603100, 911145603300, 91-11-66310011 on 08 (15:48 hrs), 09 (18:18 hrs), 16 (14:01 hrs), and 17 (15:53 hrs) Aug and they were rude and unprofessional in communication.
Point # 2, Meanwhile, I bought a new car last month and applied for loan from SBI bank, the loan was denied due to negative CIBIL report and I ended up taking loan from open market at very high rate.
Both above points ruined my reputation in front of the motor dealer, bank and in public. Worse part is I being marked permanently as defaulter in CIBIL, and all this without me being at fault.
I have 2 more loans but, never defaulted in any of them for 8 years. Now, with this case I am being treated as defaulter for my whole life.
Therefore, I demand immediate remedial of above problems and suitable compensation to recover my malign reputation.
An immediate action is expected within next couple of days, based on which I shall decide my future course of action
