07 Tax return not received

Hi,

I am still waiting to receive my 07 income tax returns. I really dont understand why the Income Tax dept adheres so strictly when it comes to deadlines for filing tax and associated penalties. But, when it comes to refunds, they take their own sweet time. I was supposed to receive a substantial amount due to double taxation etc., and for the same reason, I was even charged a generous fee from my tax consultant. I dont know how much longer its going to take.
