Sir,

I am a defence Officer serving in the Inaian Air Force, presently posted at Coimbatore. My family is residing at Adoor, Kerala. I have an Indane gas connection with M/S Poornima Indane Service (555C, 555D/XII) Parakode, Adoor CODE No. 4984658 having consumer No.26296. My wife is a Gynaecologyst with a leading hospital in Adoor. Getting a refill in time from this agency i.e;after 21 days of booking is an effort more than fighting your enemy. For the last few months, amajor tension at home is on the issue of getting a refill in time especially with me not available at home and my wife also being a working women. My visits to the agency to get the issue resolved has been tremendous, almost every visit to Adoor, I have to go to the agency and meet the agency head. When that did not work, I spoke to the Asst. Manager LPG Sales of that area Shri Lohithakshan and informed him of the attitude of the agency and me not getting refill in time. Now it has become a regular event of me calling up Shri Lohithakshan when the refill does not come even after 30 days plus and only after he intervenes the refill is received. This process of getting refill after the Asst Manager intervenes has been happening for past three times. My last booking for refill has been on 01 Sep 2008 and as on today i.e;13 Oct I have not received the refill.

This activity has become a stumbling block in the day to day activities that happen at home. It is surprising to know that the shops in this area get the refills in time, probably some nexus which I suspect. There were two agencies in Adoor before, however for the past one year plus there is only one agency which is a limitation on the service. But to face the same issue every time is not acceptable. In todays world getting a LPG refill in time should be an activity routine in nature, however it has become a critical activity. I request the authorities at Indane gas service to look into the matter and initiate remedial action for stopping unauthorised use and also ensure that the family of a defence officer is not subjected to such harrassment.
