I have applied for a new LPG connection with Ashirwad Gas Agency, Gandhinagar, Gujarat on 7th April. I was told I would receive a registered letter from the Indane Gas in 15 days. Till date, I have not received any letter. When contacting the Ashirwad Gas Agency, I was told I might take 3-5 months (earlier it used to take even years). I am informed and the Oil companies claim that there in no shortage of any LPG cyclinders. Then why are consumers not given connections?
