I'm a resident of Bangalore. I bought petrol from an Indian Oil Gas Station/Petrol Pump in Koramangala (In front of Passport Office, Bangalore).
I asked for petrol of worth Rs 200/-(Rs 52/litre). I noticed that the fuel needle of my vehicle didn't move much. I thought probably after catching-up speed the needle will move but no it wasn't gonna happen. I came back with a transparent caliberated bottle and asked them to pour 1 Litre petrol. And they refused by saying that they do not give petrol in glass/plastic bottles.
Although I didn't get my money back but I don't want you too to lose your money. So while buying petrol please make sure that you chose an honest (Least corrupt) gas station.
