Delay in International Passport Issue

Hi,

I have applied for my international passport in Kolkata RPO on 01-Jan. After so many months, on March 21 I had been verified by the D.I.B and said that all the relevant documents were OK. But till date, I have not received my passport yet. When I check the online status, it always shows the same status as "Police Report Has Not Yet Been Received". It's been 7th. month since I applied for the passport. Please do the needful ASAP as I'm not sure where or whom to approach in my situation.
