I would like to bring to your kind notice regarding the poor maintenance and hygiene of the bogies of Rajdhani Express running between New Delhi to Guwahati.
I was traveling in the Coach No. B-7 berth no. 1 & 4 of the Rajdhani Express left New Delhi on 6th March against my AC three tier ticket No. 0038396436 against P.N.R. No. 2346096708. First of all the cleanliness in the bogie was not perfect and the aluminum clamp fitted with the middle seat for the latches was loose causing the injury on the head of the lower berth passenger. The latches of the toilets were not perfect and nobody came for cleaning the bogies between New Delhi to New Jalpaiguri.
Secondly, there were rates and cockroaches running from place to place inside the bogie causing inconvenience to the passengers. Even the rates cut my bag from two three places and some garments kept in the bag of a fellow passenger on the seat no. 2 which were kept under the seat. This has caused me a financial loss and mental harassment.
I am at a loss to understand the reason for such nuisances inside the coaches when the railway advertise and promise for the comfort of the passengers.
I shall be glad if the conditions inside the coaches are made traveler friendly instead of putting big advertisements in the leading news papers and magazines regarding the so called comfort in Indian Railways.
